semo.net helps Microsoft find new virus.

semo.net is at it again. On the weekend of Jan 30 I came in during the night to do the periodic maintenance on our Windows Servers which usually requires a reboot.
This ended up not being the normal come in at 2:00am run updates, checked anti-virus updates and go home at 3:00am. I was not that lucky. What did happen is listed in the blog below by a Microsoft engineer who can tell you better in his own words the synopsis of our 14 1/2 hour phone call.
This is not for the faint of heart it contains lots of technical data, but for those who want to wade through it enjoy.
